Notice to all Group Customers of Mobley Insurance Agency, LLC
Due to a series of legal actions that have occurred outside the state of Mississippi, the disclosure of compensation for insurance agents has come under scrutiny. As certified agents of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Mississippi and Bluebonnet Life, we have been advised to inform all of our clients that our agency receives compensation for the placement and service of business in the form of commissions.
Commissions
The commission schedules are standardized and have undergone only minor changes since 1983. Also, the agency may receive additional compensation in the form of a bonus based on the combined performance of all of our BCBS of Ms groups. This comes directly from the company and does not affect your rates or benefits in any way. In some cases, we also share commission compensation with a referring agent.
Service
For these commissions, our agency evaluates rates and benefits to select the best plans for our clients, enrolls employees for group policies, helps solve billing and claim problems, assists with administrative duties and counsels employers on financial solutions and continuation of coverage issues.
